NIËL LANGNER

I’m Niel Langner, the founder of DJN Photography and a passionate photographer based in South Africa. My journey with photography began in 2019, and since then, it has become more than just a hobby—it’s a lifelong pursuit of capturing emotion, light, and life itself.

I’m proud to be a member of the Photographic Society of South Africa (PSSA), through which I’ve grown and developed my craft. Over the years, I’ve had the honour of receiving both national and international recognition. In 2019, I placed second nationally in the Up-and-Coming Youth Photography competition. In 2024, my work earned second and third place in an international youth photography competition held in Russia. Most recently, in 2025, I was awarded first place in a prestigious international youth competition in Germany.

My photographs have been exhibited globally, including at the iconic Bridgeport Art Center in Chicago and the renowned Blank Wall Gallery in Athens, Greece. I believe in always pushing creative boundaries, which is why I don’t limit myself to one genre. Whether it’s nature, portraits, architecture, or travel, I approach every shot with curiosity and commitment.
